Rare program of the International Chess Tournament and XIV. Congress of the Czechoslovak Chess Union held in July 1936 in Podebrady. The winner of the international tournament was Flohr ahead of Alekhine and Foltys.
A nice addition to the tournament book in similar red binding and gold lettering on the spine.
Condition - Good: private cloth binding with gold lettering on spine and with original softcover bound in. A small part of the lower right corner of the original front cover is torn off, crack at gutter between frontispiece and title page, library stamp on the back of the title page, some marking on page 2, small brown stains at bottom of pages 6 - 12.
