Pachman, Ludek. Velikonocni mistrovsky sachovy turnaj v Praze 1943. Praha, publisher not stated, 1944. In Czech. 28,5 cm. Program of the tournament (4 pages, 21 cm), title page, VIII, 32 pages, 1 separate sheet with index (25 cm). Not in LN. Not in Soukup. Mokry 149.
The book contains all games from the tournament with commentary by Ludek Pachman and, unlike other versions of the book, also a program and detailed report on the thematic tournament (King's Gambit), held after the tournament. Additionally, two more sheets were published with index and errata list, which are missing in most books. This offered book has a loosely attached index.
The rarest version of all 4 Pachman books about the tournament. The book was published on cheap paper, the cover and the program are on better quality paper. The program is simultaneously in Czech and German (not in LN, not in Soukup, Mokry 145).
The winner of the tournament was Alekhine ahead of Keres and Katetov.
Condition - Good: private cloth binding with gold lettering on spine and original cover bound inside. The original cover has tears and a small part of the lower corner (front) and upper corner (back) has been torn off (the text is not affected). Paper is yellowed.
