"Tigran Petrosian" by Vik Vasiliev. Published in hardback by Batsford in 1974. First UK Edition. 247pp. The book is in Very Good condition for its age. The binding is tight although the book has a mild shelf lean. The boards have no bowing. The boards are very clean and unmarked and the gilt lettering on the spine is still strong. The page edge blocks are clean. Internally the book is in very clean, unmarked condition. I noted one annotation on the "Biographical Details" page where a previous owner made a note concerning Petrosian's passing (see scan). I could find no other inscriptions or annotations. The book is foxing free. The dustjacket is also in Very Good condition. It is complete but does have the usual fading to the spine area that has turned the title lettering to a shade of turquoise from the original green (see second scan). The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Standard airmail postage (see An Post.com website for prices) based on book weight will be used unless the winning bidder requires signature on delivery or insurance, etc. Any questions, please just ask.
