DESCRIPTION

"Nottingham, 1946: The Book of the British Chess Federation's Congress" by R.L. Aldis, B. Reilly and B.H. Wood. Published in hardback by 'CHESS, Sutton Coldfield' in 1946. First Edition. 158pp. Betts 25-171. The book is in Good Plus condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The boards are clean with a little tanning or fading to note along the spine area. The page edge blocks are a little age tanned but clean. Internally the book has a gift inscription on the front pastedown but the remainder of the book is inscription and annotation free. It is free of foxing. Published without a dustjacket. Games are given in algebraic notation. Further scanned images are available on request. Standard airmail postage (see An Post.com website for prices) based on book weight will be used unless the winning bidder requires signature on delivery or insurance, etc. Any questions, please just ask.
