DESCRIPTION

"The World Chess Championship, 1951" by William Winter and Robert Wade. Published in softback by The Chess Player as a reprint of the original Turnstile Press edition of 1951 (Betts 27-51). No date. 133pp. The book is in Good Plus condition for its age. The covers have discolouration and scuffing to note (see scans) and the front cover rises slightly. The page edge blocks are tanned from age and handling. Internally the book is very clean and unmarked. It feels largely unread (and, therefore, I have not bent the spine back to take double page scans). The book is inscription, annotation and foxing free. Games are given in English descriptive notation. An uncommon edition of the 1951 match. Further scanned images are available on request. Standard airmail postage (see An Post.com website for prices) based on book weight will be used unless the winning bidder requires signature on delivery or insurance, etc. Any questions, please just ask.

PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOW BASED IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND AND, THEREFORE, ALL SALES TO EUROPEAN DESTINATIONS (APART FROM GB) WILL BE IN EUROS AND SHIPPED DIRECT EU - EU (THUS AVOIDING ANY BREXIT POSTAL TAXES). CUSTOMERS IN THE GB AREA CAN STILL AVAIL OF SHIPPING DIRECT GB - GB AS I CAN SHIP FROM NORTHERN IRELAND, ALTHOUGH THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT DELAY IN POSTING. CUSTOMERS IN THE USA AND THE RoW WILL HAVE THEIR ORDER SHIPPED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND.
