DESCRIPTION

Chess Review 1935:

Chess review 1935. Vol 3. No. 1-12 printed in 12 issues. Descriptive notation. Many diagrams. Some photos in good quality. 292 pages. Index, 2 pages. No title page issued. Index published as pp. 291-92 in the December issue. Paper covers with mostly ads on inner covers and back page. 24 cm. Published by Chess Review, New York. Nice cloth binding with lettering on spine. L/N 6418. Kieler Schachkatalog 81. Betts 7 - 76. Felice 634.

Description taken from the former seller, to which I in general agree: "All twelve magazines for the year 1935. Covers bound in. Includes index. The volume is in Very Good overall condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The boards are clean and the gilt lettering on the spine is still bright. Internally the volume is in remarkably good condition. The pages are very clean and foxing free. There are no inscriptions or annotations present although there is a previous owner's stamp and date on the front endpaper (see scan). The page edge blocks are evenly tanned from age. It is obvious that this book has been very well cared for over the years. Games are given in English descriptive notation."

Condition: page 35/36 in copy. Otherwise Very Good!

Postage EUR (insurance included): Non-EU countries please ask! I try to choose the most cost-effective yet reliable way.

I combine shipping – you always pay just real postage! The packing materials are free.

I send with the so-called "Paketmarke" (for further information https://www.post.at/privat_versenden_paket_paketmarke.php) which is, in general, the most cost-effective and reliable way to send parcels to Austria. One feature is that the shipment costs are defined via the longest and the shortest side of the parcel. The weight is limited to 10 kg. The parcel is also insured up to € 500,-.

  1. PM 045 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel is added max. 45 cm) GER=€10,79, other EU = €14,19
  2. PM 070 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel is added max. 70 cm) GER=€16,24, other EU = €19,69
  3. PM 120 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel are added max. 120 cm) GER=€21,69, other EU = €25,19

Therefore if you win more than 1 lot and the books fit into the same parcel, the shipping costs will be the same as for 1 book.

Important: Please wait with payment until you get my confirmation email, as the shipping costs have to be calculated.
