British Chess Magazine 1908:
British Chess Magazine 1908. Vol. 28. No. 1-12 printed in 12 issues. Eleven plates (no. 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12). Many photos in text. Many diagrams. Descriptive notation. 560 pages. 21 cm. Index, 8 pages including the title page, was published in no. 12. Published by The British Chess Magazine, Trubner & Co, London, England. L/N 6135. Kieler Schachkatalog 51. Betts 7 - 27. Felice 317.
Nice cloth binding with gilt lettering on spine.
The plate nr. 11 Staunton is missing, but I am not sure if it really was issued. It was mentioned in the index in November and Dezember but also the Google scan has´nt this plate included.
Condition: Binding with slight wear. Lower corners bumped. Endpapers with stronger browning. Paper age typical browned. Former owner name on first endpaper. Otherwise inside nice clean. Overall Assessment = Still Very Good!
Postage EUR (insurance included): Non-EU countries please ask! I try to choose the most cost-effective yet reliable way.
I combine shipping – you always pay just real postage! The packing materials are free.
I send with the so-called "Paketmarke" (for further information https://www.post.at/privat_versenden_paket_paketmarke.php) which is, in general, the most cost-effective and reliable way to send parcels to Austria. One feature is that the shipment costs are defined via the longest and the shortest side of the parcel. The weight is limited to 10 kg. The parcel is also insured up to € 500,-.
Therefore if you win more than 1 lot and the books fit into the same parcel, the shipping costs will be the same as for 1 book.
Important: Please wait with payment until you get my confirmation email, as the shipping costs have to be calculated.
