DESCRIPTION

Die Hypermoderne Schachpartie :

Tartakower, S. G. Die Hypermoderne Schachpartie ... also a collection of 150 beautiful master games from the years 1914 - 1924. 2nd unchanged edition. Wiener Schachzeitung, 1925. 8°. With text illustrations, some full-page, and many diagrams. 517 pages, 1 sheet ads. Original publisher binding with gold-embossed title on the spine. L/N 1416; Kiel chess catalog 3324.

Definitly the main work of Dr. Tartakover. Author's main work. A must have in a any collection. Hans Kmoch wrote in his obituary about Tartakower: “Tartakower died, but his fame never will: his books will always proclaim him. These books, in addition to their chess-specific value, are documents of a truly warm-hearted person; because nothing but recognition and deep sympathy is given to the players. He was a true lover of chess and loved to encourage all those who played the game.”

Condition: Book protected with a transparent protective cover. Name on title. Browned inside due to paper. Binding slightly bumped. Otherwise inside nice and clean. Overall Assessment = Very Good!

Postage EUR (insurance included): Non-EU countries please ask! I try to choose the most cost-effective yet reliable way.

I combine shipping – you always pay just real postage! The packing materials are free.

I send with the so-called "Paketmarke" (for further information https://www.post.at/privat_versenden_paket_paketmarke.php) which is, in general, the most cost-effective and reliable way to send parcels to Austria. One feature is that the shipment costs are defined via the longest and the shortest side of the parcel. The weight is limited to 10 kg. The parcel is also insured up to € 500,-.

  1. PM 045 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel is added max. 45 cm) GER=€10,79, other EU = €14,19
  2. PM 070 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel is added max. 70 cm) GER=€16,24, other EU = €19,69
  3. PM 120 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel are added max. 120 cm) GER=€21,69, other EU = €25,19

Therefore if you win more than 1 lot and the books fit into the same parcel, the shipping costs will be the same as for 1 book.

Important: Please wait with payment until you get my confirmation email, as the shipping costs have to be calculated.
