Sjakk-nytt 1947 and 1948. Complete volumes 5 and 6. Published by Harry Fossum, Askim, Norway. LN 6277. Di Felice 2454.
Volume 5 (1947): issues 1-10, 160 pages. Title page and index not issued. Covers not bound.
Volume 6 (1948): issues 1-6, 92 pages + 4 additional pages (93 B, 93 C, 93 D, 93 E) and one half page with correction glued between pages 6-7. Title page and index not issued. Covers not bound. The 4 additional pages were probably sent to subscribers separately along with the information about the closure of the magazine.
Sjakk-nytt was a Norwegian chess magazine published between 1943 and 1948, 6 volumes in total. The last issue of the magazine was 1948/6. Until 1945/9 it was published under the name Askim Sjakkblad. According to LN, 1945/10-11 was the first printed issue. In what format it was published before as Askim Sjakkblad is unknown to me.
Condition - Good: private cloth binding with gold lettering on spine, paper yellowed.
