"This is by far the most comprehensive accounting of the games of this brilliant chess player: an exhaustive catalog the result of many years of digging—an effort unparalleled in the history of chess game collections. Many of the games are annotated by Alekhine and range from his earliest correspondence tournaments in 1902 through his final match with Francisco Lupi at Estoril, Portugal, in January 1946." (McFarland)

Condition: Binding with some wear and some soil. Upper spine with a defect. A few upper page edges with a spot of abrasion. Binding minimal bowed to the upper part. Paper edges slightly soiled and dusty. Otherwise inside nice and clean. Overall Assessment = Still Good!

Postage EUR (insurance included): Non-EU countries please ask! I try to choose the most cost-effective yet reliable way.

I combine shipping – you always pay just real postage! The packing materials are free.

I send with the so-called "Paketmarke" (for further information https://www.post.at/privat_versenden_paket_paketmarke.php) which is, in general, the most cost-effective and reliable way to send parcels to Austria. One feature is that the shipment costs are defined via the longest and the shortest side of the parcel. The weight is limited to 10 kg. The parcel is also insured up to € 500,-.

  1. PM 045 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel is added max. 45 cm) GER=€10,79, other EU = €14,19
  2. PM 070 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel is added max. 70 cm) GER=€16,24, other EU = €19,69
  3. PM 120 = longest and the shortest side of the parcel are added max. 120 cm) GER=€21,69, other EU = €25,19

Therefore if you win more than 1 lot and the books fit into the same parcel, the shipping costs will be the same as for 1 book.

Important: Please wait with payment until you get my confirmation email, as the shipping costs have to be calculated.

P.S.: Bibliographical data taken from a former lot of Mr Victoriano Gallego Jiménez.
