"Europe Echecs" Revue Internationale Mensuelle du Jeu d'Echecs. Année 1983. Nº 289-300 (Janvier 1983-Décembre 1983). 11 issues with a double number of August-September (296-297). The number 295 appears as corresponding to July-August. I suppose that by not numbering it as a double, they wanted to compensate in the September issue by numbering it as a double, 296-297, and they had to "label" it as August-September.
Besançon, Europe Echecs, 1983. Private (or original????) blue hardback edition with gilt Title on spine. 698 pages (individual and continuous pagination, including the covers, with 60-68 pages for each number) + 4 unnumbered Index pages. 29,8 x 21,2 cm. Numbers 289-292 are in a larger format (29,2 x 20,5 cm) and numbers 293-300 are in a slightly smaller format (27,6 x 20,5 cm). In French.
Very good: Minor defects in binding, with some rubbing in edges, corners and spine. Some very slight wrinkles or folds on very few pages, more important in double number 296-297. Inside pages are clean and with no writings, in excellent condition. Shadow/reflection of my body on the covers, to take the photos. Both the description and the photos (sorry for the bad quality of my old phone) are archival, from an old auction from June 2018, of this same copy that I was unable to sell at the time.
French magazine of very high quality, with excellent analysis, many photographs, some national tournaments, with its crosstables, only published in this magazine, national and international panorama, section of problems..... A spectacular magazine!!
