Minsk, Комитета по физической культуре и спорту при Совете Министров БССР, 1979-1983. Private brown hardback linen edition with gilt Title on spine. 368 pages (16 pages each number. Individual pagination, not including the covers). 28,8 x 22,8 cm. In Russian.

This periodical ran from December 1979 to 1990. With general coverage of chess and checkers in the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic, including tournament reports, annotated games, theory articles, problems. The split is approximately 75% chess: 25% checkers.
It is almost impossible to know how many issues were published each year. The enormous difficulty in knowing what number the magazine you have in your hands is the absence of this information (the numbering) in the magazine itself, neither on the covers, nor inside or anywhere. Incredible but true. Not even Sakharov was able to respond to this enormous difficulty. But after thorough research I believe I can assure how many issues were published each year.
First of all it is important to know how many issues were published in total, and this information is available at the following Belarusian link: https://chesscenter.by/history-chess/istoricheskie-daty-dlya-shakhmat-belarusi. In the middle of the link you can read that the 1st issue was published in December 1979, and a total of 61 issues were published, the last one in October 1990.
Other vital information to know the chronology of this magazine can be seen at the following link: https://board4520.rssing.com/chan-64143330/all_p2975.html. Doing a search for "Шахматы, Шашки в БССР" on that page, we will see that someone published dates of numbers 29, 30, 31, 33 and 34, all of them from 1985. Therefore the number 32 is also from 1985, and therefore 1985 must necessarily have 6 numbers. With this data, knowing that Sakharov comments that each year had 5 or 6 numbers, and looking carefully (as there are some typographical errors) at the information in my 2 Volumes (44 numbers for 1979-1987), I think I am sure of the following information:

1980 numbers 2-6 (year with 5 numbers)
1981 numbers 7-12 (year with 6 numbers)
1982 numbers 13-17 (year with 5 numbers)
1983 numbers 18-23 (year with 6 numbers)
1984 numbers 24-28 (year with 5 numbers)
1985 numbers 29-34 (year with 6 numbers)
1986 numbers 35-39 (year with 5 numbers)
1987 numbers 40-44 (year with 5 numbers)
1988 numbers 45-50 (year with 6 numbers)
1989 numbers 51-56 (year with 6 numbers)
1990 numbers 57-61 (by ending in October this year it had to be 5 issues)
