Soroca/Iasi, 1927. Contemporary halfcloth, spine lettered. IV (=title, index) + 192 pages + 2 plates (Mihail Sadoveanu + group photo of participants in Romanian championship Sibiu 1926/27). Size 23.5 cm. The weight 410 grams. LN 6300. Di Felice 1975. Stere: RO-ABC 207. In Romanian.
Good to very good: binding is OK. Stamp of previous owner (chess composer and collector Ilja Mikan) on front paste-down. Small stamp of another previous owner (Czech chess composer Rudolf Bania, from whom the magazine apparently moved to Mikan) 1x on title and 2-3x in the heading of some issues. Some marks in red crayon on page 86. Some neat marks in pencil or red crayon in the problem section, otherwise internally okay.
Complete volume 3. Numbers 1-12, including title/index + 2 plates. Covers are not bound in. The volume includes 2 plates that Stere's RO-ABC does not list.
The volume contains ca 108 annotated games, 195 problems and 32 endgame studies.
Revista de sah was the main Romanian magazine, published monthly in 1925-1931, 1933-1940, 1947-1949 and in a New series in 1950-1992. Between 1930-1949 and 1975-1992 the magazine was titled Revista Romana de sah.
