Tórshavn, Talvsamband Føroya, 1981. Original softback stapled edition. 20 pages (including the covers). Between pages 10-11 there are 4 unnumbered yellow pages, the basic Chess manual continues, explaining what checkmate is, the value of the pieces, etc. 21 x 14,8 cm. In Faroese.

 

Very good to excellent: Nothing special to mention. Only a very slight wrinkles, hardly noticeable. Otherwise almost like new with no writings inside.

The periodicity of this magazine has always been chaotic, and in its first years only 1979 had some regularity with 3 issues that were bimonthly between June and November. But from then on the magazine fell into chaos, so much so that from October-November 1979 we had to wait until April-May 1981 (nothing was published in 1980), the 2nd Year of the magazine, of which only published a number. And again we had to wait almost a year and a half, until October 1982, the 3rd Year of the magazine, for the 5th issue to appear in the magazine's overall count. On the inside of the front cover of Nr. 1 - Oktober 1982 - 3. Árg, near the upper edge, the following can be read on the 2nd line:

 

"Aftur ein roynd

 

Nú kemur Talvblað nr. 5 út, og er tað vón okkara, at fáa regluliga gongd aftur á útgávuna

 

Blaðnevnd hevur ikki verið fyrr. Áður var Bjarki einsamallur um stríðið at savna tilfar og skipa útgávu. Men nú hevur so Talvsambandið sett eina nevnd, so vónandi fer hetta at fremja blaðútgávuna regluliga

 

Ætlanin er, at blaðið skal koma út 4 ferðir um árið. Næsta blaðið er ætlað at koma út longu til jólar."
