1925 1st COMPLETE YEAR

Rio de Janeiro, Club de Xadrez do Rio de Janeiro, 1925. Private hardback binding with print on spine. 288 pages, with Index in pages 285-287. No title page issued. Bound with covers (only the front cover of issue 1 is missing). 23,5 x 16,3 cm. In Portuguese.
Good: Binding very worn, rubbed and soiled, with small tears on some edges and more visible in the corners. Adhesive label on the lower part of the spine. Library bag taped to the inside of the front cover. Stamps of the "Club de Xadrez Belo Horizonte" on page 1 and on the last safeguard. Signature of the former owner, José Antonio Fonseca, in the middle of the front covers and at the top of the 1st page of each issue. Loose pages 3-14. Break with small missing without affecting the text in the middle of the exterior side of pages 129-130. Uneven binding cuts. Some small stains on the interior with general strong browning, although I have not seen writings. In fact, after taking the photos, I saw some notes in black ink at the bottom of page 279, but I haven't seen anything else. However, a rare and difficult to find magazine in decent condition.
