"The New Jersey State Championship, 1957" by Jack Spence. NOTE: THEY SAY THAT WHEN SOMETHING LOOKS LIKE A DUCK AND WALKS LIKE A DUCK AND QUACKS LIKE A DUCK, IT'S PROBABLY A DUCK. WELL,THIS BOOKLET LOOKS LIKE A PHOTO-COPY OF THE ORIGINAL AND I'M OFFERING IT AS SUCH. Published in stapled paper covers by the author in circa 1957. 14pp. The booklet is in Good Plus condition for its age. The covers have age discolouration to note but they are clean and unmarked. Internally the booklet is inscription, foxing and annotation free. The mediocre quality of printing (see scans) is evident throughout the volume but in a way this just adds to its quaintness. The significance of this tournament is the fact that it was one of Bobby Fischer's first tournament successes. Further scanned images are available on request. Games and positions are given in English descriptive notation. Standard airmail postage (see An Post.com website for prices) based on booklet weight will be used unless the winning bidder requires signature on delivery or insurance, etc. Any questions, please just ask.
