"Botvinnik's Best Games, 1947-70" by Mikhail Botvinnik. Published in hardback by Batsford in 1973. Second UK Edition. 237pp. The book is in Good Plus condition for its age. The boards are very clean and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The gilt lettering on the spine is still strong. The page edge blocks show moderate signs of age and handling (see scan). Internally the book is clean and presentable. It is annotation and foxing free. There is a penned inscription on the front pastedown (see scan). The - price-clipped - dustjacket is in Very Good condition with just a hint of discolouration to the top edges to note. It is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request.
