The "British Chess Magazine" for the year 1895. Twelve magazines. Published by Trubner & Co. Vol 15. First Edition. Recently rebound in maroon cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. 540pp. Betts 7-27. Index and title page present. The boards are extremely clean and bright. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The page edge blocks are strongly tanned from age and handling. Internally the vast majority of the 500+ pages are clean and presentable with just the very occasional light annotation or doodle (see scans) plus age-related discolouration (particularly around the edges). The exception to the above are the first and last couple of pages which have mild damage to their extremities (see scans). The damaged pages quickly peter out and total only around 6pp in the whole volume. I would grade the volume as being in Very Good Plus overall condition for its age. Further scanned images are available on request. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Standard airmail postage (see An Post.com website for prices) based on book weight (890kg, unpackaged) will be used unless the winning bidder requires signature on delivery or insurance, etc. Any questions, please just ask.
