A rare and very interesting book by the Azerbaijani grandmaster, in which he honestly and instructively describes his chess journey and chess credo on 50 selected games. The book was originally intended as a chess-psychological manual for young masters who chose the path of a chess professional.

Sarhan Guliev (born 1 April 1968) is an Azerbaijani chess player, International Grandmaster and national champion from 1996. He was a member of the Azerbaijan team at the 1994 and 1998 Chess Olympiads.
