Stiassny – Alekhine
scoresheet from a simul played on March 26, 1925

Scoresheet Stiassny (Stastny) - Aljechin from a simul, played in Brno, Czechoslovakia, on 26 March (1925). The scoresheet has a header of the chess club "Spolek ceskych sachistu v Brne". Written in pencil in Stiassny's hand. Signed by Alexander Alekhine, also in pencil. Size ca 20.7 x 17 cm. 10 grams
Good condition: 2x centre fold, some signs of use, all shown in pictures.
Black won in 71 moves.
By the way, in the header both versions of Aljechin's opponent's name are listed: the German form "Stiassny" and the Czech form "Stastny"
The scoresheet is dated on 26 March. The year is not given, but because of the date and also the name of Alekhine's opponent, it is obvious that it is 1925. In the book “Complete Games of Alekhine: 3. Volume 1925-1927" by Fiala/Kalendovsky (Olomouc 1998) on pages 97-98 there is an account of this simul of Alekhine on 26 March 1925. It is also mentioned that one of Alekhine's opponents was the Brno chess player Stastny.
