carbon copy of a scoresheet in Hostinsky’s hand
signed (also through carbon) by both players
The scoresheet is dated 26. X. 1937. The game was played in the 10th round. It is written in Hostinsky's hand, signed (also through carbon) by both players. Size 21 x 15 cm.
Good to very good: light signs of use, 2x centre fold.
Draw in 27 moves. The game can be found in the tournament book on page 74 (Barta: Mezinarodni sachovy turnaj v Brne 1937. Brno, 1937, LN 5551)
Biographical data:
Zdenek Hostinsky (1914-1986), strong Brno chess player. He took part in the final of Czechoslovak championship in 1955.
Bohumil Urban (1917-1993), strong Brno chess player, champion of Brno in 1937.
