The reason for the publication of the magazine is written in the foreword: "There is among Chess - players an insatiable desire to see their exploits in print ..." The subject area of chess, among other things. with chess contributions, problems and many games, was supervised by Mossopp. "Includes whist, humerous poetry, drama notes etc." (Betts)
Condition: Red linen with plastic strip at spine. Index and title page. A few notes. Paper yellowed. Some foxing. Spine re-enforced with tape. Covers detached. Binding worn.
