DESCRIPTION

"The Two-move Chess Problem: Tradition and Development" by J.Rice, M. Lipton and B. Barnes. Published in hardback by Faber and Faber in 1966. First Edition. 206pp. Betts 35-22. The book is in Very Good condition for its age. The boards are very clean and unmarked. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The gilt lettering on the spine is still strong. Internally the book has a previous owner's signature on the front endpaper but the remainder of the book is inscription free. The pages are very clean. The page edge blocks are clean. The dustjacket is in Good Plus condition. It has a shop sticker on the rear panel and it is price-clipped. There is mild scuffing to note but nothing more than commensurate with age. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Positions are given in algebraic notation. Standard airmail postage (see An Post.com website for prices) based on book weight will be used unless the winning bidder requires signature on delivery or insurance, etc. Further scanned images are available on request. Any questions, please just ask.

PLEASE NOTE: I AM NOW BASED IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND AND, THEREFORE, ALL SALES TO EUROPEAN DESTINATIONS (APART FROM GB) WILL BE IN EUROS AND SHIPPED DIRECT EU - EU (THUS AVOIDING ANY BREXIT POSTAL TAXES). CUSTOMERS IN THE GB AREA CAN STILL AVAIL OF SHIPPING DIRECT GB - GB AS I CAN SHIP FROM NORTHERN IRELAND, ALTHOUGH THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT DELAY IN POSTING. CUSTOMERS IN THE USA AND THE RoW WILL HAVE THEIR ORDER SHIPPED FROM THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND.
