"Chess Problems: Introduction to an Art" by M.Lipton, R. Matthews and J. Rice. Published in hardback by Faber and Faber in 1963. First Edition. 295pp. Betts 30-29. The book is in Very Good condition for its age. The boards are very clean and unmarked. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The black lettering on the spine is still strong. Internally the book is in very clean condition. It is inscription, annotation and foxing free. The pages are unmarked. The page edge blocks are clean (a little foxing evident to the top edge). The dustjacket is in Good Plus condition. It is price-clipped. There is mild scuffing to note plus tiny superficial nicks and marks but nothing more than commensurate with age. The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Positions are given in English descriptive notation. Standard airmail postage (see An Post.com website for prices) based on book weight will be used unless the winning bidder requires signature on delivery or insurance, etc. Further scanned images are available on request.
