"The Early Games of Paul Keres" by Paul Keres (edited by Harry Golombek). Published in hardback by Herbert Jenkins in 1966. Second Edition. 191pp. Betts 29-53. The book is in Good Plus condition for its age. The binding is tight although there is a very mild shelf lean present but no bowing. The boards are very clean and the gilt lettering on the spine is still strong. The long page edge block has tanned and has mild foxing (see scan). Internally the book has a "CHESS, Sutton Coldfield" sticker on the front endpaper but is otherwise inscription and annotation free. There is very mild foxing throughout the book but, as can be seen from the scanned images, this is very mild indeed. Apart from the above, the book is in clean, unmarked condition. The dustjacket is also in Good Plus condition. It suffers from a very small area of laminate loss to the head of the spine (see scan) plus very mild scuffing. It is price-clipped. Please note the lettering on the spine "bends around" very slightly towards the back board of the book (see scan). The dustjacket is now protected by a removable see-through sleeve. Games are given in English descriptive notation. Further scanned images are available on request.
