Visiting card, Max Adolf Albin.
Max Adolf Albin travelled through Danmark and Sweden in 1913 on a simultaneous tour. It appears that he arrived based on an invitation to his late father, Adolf Albin (*1848, +1913).
Albin visited several cities and played a number of simuls and five match games against Gustaf Nyholm.
Included in this lot is: Visiting card. Original handwritten application to the police commision in Eskilstuna from the secretary in Eskilstuna Chess Club, and a newspaper cutting from Stockholm, outlining his play in Stockholm.
Max Adolf Albin was born in Bucarest on 18 January 1870 and died in Vienna 1920. He participated in the Vienna Trebitsch tournament in 1914.
