12 plates - among others Löwenthal, Morphy, Marshall, Spielmann, Tarrasch, Zukertort, Saint-Amant, Alekhine and Goetz. Half title, title page, index pp 507-520. 520 pp contemporary bound in nice leather with gold print on spine (see scan). Condition: Excellent.
