A very nice copy
Louma, Josef and others: Sachova olympiada v Praze 1931. Praha, chess club Dobrusky, (1932). Orig. red cloth (dust jacket not issued). Half-title, title, III-XVI, (8)p with 13 photos, (2), 256 pages. Size 25 cm. In Czech. LN 5450. Soukup 90, Mokry 117. 600 grams. Book code 7232.
Very good plus: Slight signs of use, no flaws, internally clean with no writings. (Dust jacket not issued).
The most important book on the Prague Chess olympiad with 329 mostly annotated games, of 680 played. Round summaries, results, indexes, interesting photos.
The winner was USA, 19 teams played each other. Best individual results had Aljechin and Tartakower, both with 13,5 of 18. The winner of the woman tournament was Vera Menchik - 8 of 8, in the book are all 8 games with her own annotations.
