Good: light/some wear to spine ends. Covers slightly soiled. Pages are clean and with no writings, as usual yellowed by age.
Explanation of the theme on first 40 pages is followed by 247 problems by various authors, with comments, thematically ordered.
Mostly 3-movers, with some 2-, 4- and 5-movers.
Emil Palkoska (1871-1955) was noted Czech composer, he composed more than 2,000 problems. Author of several books, he was the editor of weekly chess column in paper „Narodni Politika“ for 38 years(!) from 1907 through 1945 with no break.
