postally used, Sept 15, 1949

 

Trencianske Teplice 1949 – signed postcard. Postally used, 14 x 9 cm. The weight 10 grams. 

Good(+):  the postcard has light/some edgewear, light general signs of use. The official tournament stamp on the front side. The winner was Stahlberg, ahead of Szabo, Pachman, etc., 20 players.

The postcard was sent to certain I. Krepelka, by Erwin Rosenblatt (1906-1990), strong Czech player, founder of the well known chess store on Wencel Square in Prague and its manager in 1950-1970.

The card meassures 14 x 9 cm and here is the picture close to its real size:
