DESCRIPTION

Czech master Frantisek Pithart

manuscript with 30 of his own games

played between April 1 – November 18, 1935

This is the exercise book with 30 games of master Frantisek Pithart. The games are neatly recorded in his own hand, with occasional light notes.

All the games are from Eastern Bohemia, where Pithart lived in his young years (he was 20 in 1935). The games are from the tournaments like:

  • championship of town Pardubice 1935 (15 games)
  • Congress of the East-Bohemian county of the UJCS in Bohdanec 1935 (5 games)
  • other events (10 games)

I guess that most of these games were not published. All the games have in the heading names of the opponents, name of the event., date and place of the game.

The exercise book size 20.5 x 19 cm, (66) pages.

Good or better: there are 2 attempts to draw chess Knights on the front cover, otherwise light signs of use, internally OK.
