The letter is beginning Mily priteli (=Dear friend). The recipient was most probably Czech study composer Jan Sevcik (among others, V. Kos wishes to the recipient the best ot 60th birthday and asks, if a composers‘ meeting could be organized in Olomouc = Jan Sevcik’s place of residence).
1 sheet size 21 x 15 cm, text on one side. Signed By V. Kos, dated Brno 14. 3. 1996.
Very good: light horizontal centre fold, else OK.
Biographical data:
Vladimir Kos (1928 - 2007) was one of the best Czech composers in the second half of the 20th century - he composed both problems and endgame studies, author of about 300 compositions, author of several books.
Jan Sevcik (1936-2013), Czech study composer, author of more than 100 studies.
