by his chess colleagues
from Bratislava, Slovakia, 1952
The card was probably sent by Louma’s chess club colleaugues – they inform about the result of one team match, played in the second round, on June 10.
The card is signed by 10 players but I am not familiar with the signatures.
14 x 9 cm, postally used, cancellation 10. VI. 1952.
Good to very good: light general signs of use.
Biographical data:
Josef Louma (1898-1955), strong Czech master, FIDE vicepresident 1951-54, journalist (Ceskoslovensky sach etc), chess study composer - author of some 60 endgame studies.
