Very good to excellent: Very good to excellent. Only a slight wrinkle, which affects the outer lower corner of the first few pages, especially pages 3-4, and some tiny foxing stains in few pages.

Excellent booklet on the history of the Dublin Chess Club, from 1867 to 1965, published on the occasion of the proximity of the 100th anniversary, as shown on page 4: "The Dublin Chess Club is now approaching its centenary year....".

INCLUDED IS A LETTER, WITH CRUCIAL IMPORTANCE ON THE YEAR OF PUBLICATION OF THE BOOKLET!!

The fact that the booklet was published in 1965, although the 100th anniversary of the Dublin Chess Club was in 1967, has resulted in some sources appear as year of publication in 1965, and in other 1967. But there are 2 circumstantial facts, within the same booklet, pointing to 1965. One, the reference mentioned in page 4 ("The Dublin Chess Club is now approaching....."). And another, in the Index of members, appearing only until 1965. If Luce was President until 1968 (that seems to be, "Following Dr Luce’s resignation as president a presentation of a pair of silver candlesticks was made to him in September 1968..." in page 1 of the following link: http://www.dublinchessclub.com/uploads/2/4/1/5/24157251/dcc_on_to_the_millenium_june_26_2014.pdf), and the booklet had been published in 1967, the Index would indicate that Luce was President from 1960 to 1967.

But the most important thing, is that the letter (with date Aug 3/65) enclosed to the book, shows in front side, without a doubt, that the year of the publication of the book was 1965: "I enclose a complimentary? copy....".
