's-Gravenhage, Schaakgenootschap DISCENDO DISCIMUS, 1922. Original softback edition. 96 pages + 2 portraits (after page 2, and after page 42) + 1 drawing (after page 38) + IV pages (after page 48). In Dutch.
Good: Small cracks at the ends of the spine. Front cover with a important wrinkle in the bottom corner. There are 2 labels library of the previous owner, one in the outer upper corner of the front cover (glued with cellophane), and another at the bottom of the spine. On the inside of the front cover there is a ex-libris of former owner (Leo van der Meer), and in the outer upper corner of the Title page there is a annotation numerical library of the previous owner. Small cracks in the top margin of the pages 45-46. Small circular spot, probably of some liquid, in the middle of the outer rim side, affecting particularly the pages 73-74. Light pencil annotations (possibly easy to delete) on pages 93-95. Inside in good to very good condition, with some slight wrinkle, some browning, and some tiny spot of foxing.
