RARE, SCARCE AND VERY HARD TO FIND!!

's-Gravenhage, Schaakgenootschap DISCENDO DISCIMUS, 1912. Original softback edition. 94 pages + 4 unnumbered Index pages + 2 portraits (after page 4, and after page 18) + 1 sheet with 4 portraits (after page 6) + 1 group photo (after page 24). In Dutch.
Good: Small cracks at the ends of the spine, with small loss in the high part. Cellophane tape on the ends of the spine, to strengthen. Covers with general foxing. Front cover with a important wrinkle in the bottom corner. Light pencil annotations (possibly easy to delete) in front cover. There are 2 labels library of the previous owner, one in the outer upper corner of the front cover (glued with cellophane), and another at the bottom of the spine. On the inside of the front cover there is a ex-libris of former owner (Leo van der Meer) and a small red circular sticker in the upper exterior, and in the outer upper corner of the Title page there is a annotation numerical library of the previous owner. Small break, above the portrait of Houten, I suppose that the detach (the former owner) of the page 4. Small circular spot, probably of some liquid, in the middle of the outer rim side, affecting particularly the pages 91-94 and Index. Inside in good to very good condition, with some slight wrinkle, some browning, and some tiny spot of foxing.
