Casopis ceskych sachistu 1907/08 + 1908/09 (volumes II + III in one book). Praha, 1907-1909. Later binding (cloth), spine lettered. Size 24 cm. 980 grams. In Czech. LN 5985, Soukup 4, Mokry 237, di Felice 443.
- volume 1907/08: title, index, 212 pages + 1 plate (Dr. Jan Dobrusky)
- volume 1908/09: title, index, 192 pages
Good: rear cover and the top of spine somewhat rubbed. otherwise binding is OK. Pages are clean with no writings.
Both volumes are complete (no plates appear in 1908/09).
Volume 1907/08 is on common paper, while volume 1908/09 is on heavy white paper. (=something like a de-luxe edition).
The „Casopis ceskych sachistu“ is the main Czech chess magazine and is published since 1906/07 without a break until the present. It started as Casopis ceskych sachistu, in 1919-1926 titled Casopis ceskoslovenskych sachistu, then in 1927-1938, 1946-now called Ceskoslovensky sach. In 1939-1945, its title was Sach.
