Sach 1941 + 1942 (2 volumes in one book). Praha, 1941-1942. Contemporary half-cloth, spine lettered. Size 27.5 cm. 1160 grams. In Czech. LN 5985, Soukup 7, Mokry 240, di Felice 2061.

All covers (both front and rear) bound in. Since August 1942 is magazine published without covers.

Good to very good: small stain on spine, binding is OK. Light general signs of use, pages are OK with no writings, some covers are a little soiled.

The magazine is quite complete with all covers, title/index pages and the supplement Zupni vestnik. The volumes 1941 and 1942 are the only ones when was published the supplement Zupni vestnik (it run exactly from January 1941 to July 1942).

The supplement Zupni vestnik (it means something like County Circular) was paginated separately and does not include games – it consists of regional news, results, and crosstables.

I am listing the Sach magazine 1943-1945 in another auction, in similar binding.

The main Czech chess magazine is published since 1906 without a break until the present. It started as Casopis ceskych sachistu, then in 1927-1938, 1946-now called Ceskoslovensky sach. In 1939-1945, its title was Sach.
