Sach 1943 + 1944 + 1945 (3 volumes in one book). Praha, 1943-1945. Contemporary half-cloth, spine lettered. Size 27.5 cm. 900 grams. In Czech. LN 5985, Soukup 7, Mokry 240, di Felice 2061.
- volume 1943: title, index, 144 pages
- volume 1944: title, index, 148 pages
- volume 1945: title, index, 136 pages
In 1943-1945, the magazine is published without covers (the exception is double-issue 5-6 of 1945, this cover is not bound in).
Good: binding is OK, minor edgewear. Light/some general signs of use, no flaws. Pages are OK with no writings.
As always, the volume 1945 has strange pagination - pages 121-136 are bound between pp.72 and 73 - otherwise the text would not make sense. This is a way, how the volume was published.
I am listing the Sach magazine 1941-1942 in another auction, in similar binding.
The main Czech chess magazine is published since 1906 without a break until the present. It started as Casopis ceskych sachistu, then in 1927-1938, 1946-now called Ceskoslovensky sach. In 1939-1945, its title was Sach.
