Fair: front cover is detached and worn around edges. The rest is OK – some wear to spine, book-block is holding well, internally clean with no writings.
This is a general (non-chess) calender for year 1943 with articles on various themes.
Chess appears only on pages 115-117. It is an article by Josef Louma titled „Narodni sachovy hrdina“ (National chess hero), about Oldrich Duras, with short biography and samples of his play.
The „Kalendar ceskeho ctenare“ was published for several years but only two of them contain something on chess: this volume for 1943 and then volume for 1942 (I am listing it in another auction).
