Good to very good: spine somewhat browned, otherwise only light signs of use, no flaws. Pages are clean with no writings. The book looks like unread.

The book consists from 2 sections: First part (pp. 1-286) is deals with the Congress tournaments. Shared winners of the International tournament were Reti and Spielmann (9 of 13), followed by Gruenfeld, Tartakower, Rubinstein, Kostitch, Teichmann, Maroczy, Treybal, Wolf, Mieses, Saemich, Tarrasch and Johner.

All 91 games are present, deeply annotated by Gruenfeld and Becker. A few games of the Master tournament (won by Thanhofer) at the edn.

Second part of the book consists from ca 25 various articles, most of which are on problem chess. Some titles are:
