Brekke. Sjakkmesteren Svein Johannesen.
Svein Johannessen (1937-2007) was Norway's foremost chess player before Simen Agdestein and Magnus Carlsen. The book follows the story of the boy from Mjøndalen, who soon became aware of his chess gift and met many of the strongest players in the world in duels on the board.
The book also contains 167 games, Svein Johannessen played from 1951 to 2007, with instructive comments, partly written by him in various magazines and newspapers. Many games, even against famous opponents are actually not available in the international databases. Norwegian text throughout.
