Very interesting study about the wonders of mental calculation and players of chess in the blind games.
In the book published in 1894 Alfred Binet is in its first part the description of the processes of thought and intelligence of two of the most great wonders of the mental time, Jacques Inaudi, old illiterate, which appeared to have a memory of essentially hearing the numbers, and Pericles Diamandi that had a memory on all visual and Pericles Diamandi.
In the second part (205-361 pages), Alfred Binet tells us the result of an investigation into the world of chess players in order to know which are the processes that employ those who play blind chess games.
