"The British Chess Magazine, 1930" published by Whitehead & Miller in 1930. Privately bound in black hardback. 468pp. Volume 50. Includes index. The volume is in Good condition for its age (95 years old!). The binding is tight and there is no bowing present. There is a mild shelf lean, however. The boards are very clean. The page edge blocks are age-tanned and some page edges are discoloured. The internal pages are generally clean and inscription free but the feel of the volume is that the magazines were quite well read before being bound. This feeling is evidenced by some page creasing, thumbing and the occasional smudge mark. Some pages have a vertical crease. There is some evidence of the magazine staples having rust-bled a little. The internal pages are age-tanned, as often seen. Condition Rating: 6.5/10. Any questions, please just ask.
