The binding is tight and there is no bowing present. There is a moderate shelf lean, however. The boards are clean. The page edge blocks are quitr strongly age-tanned with the long edge block possibly also a little thumbed. The internal pages are clean and inscription free but have tanned due to the very inferior quality of paper available so soon after WW2. There is a 'CHESS, Sutton Coldfield' sticker on the front endpaper. Condition Rating: 7/10. Any questions, please just ask.
