Tidskrift for Schack 1902-1914

First 13 volumes published in Stockholm

all in uniform or similar bindings

LN 6345, Di Felice 2640

Tidskrift for Schack 1902-1914 (13 volumes).

Stockholm 1902-1914. Volumes 1903-1914 are in uniform contemporary cloth bindings, spines lettered. Volume 1902 is in later binding in similar style. Size ca 23-24 cm. The weight 7,700 grams. LN 6345. Di Felice 2640. In Swedish.

Good or better: the bindings are tight, they can have usual light wear to spine ends or corners. All volumes (except 1902) have stamp of previous owner on the front paste-down = chess composer and collector Ilja Mikan. In one case (1914), Mikan's stamp is overlaid with a blank paper sticker. Internally the magazines are OK, there may appear some minor damage or light soiling, but nothing serious. There are occasional neat annotations in red pen or crayon in the problem section in Mikan's hand.

All volumes are complete including halftitle- and title pages, and indexes. Always numbers 1-12. Two plates are missing – one in volume 1902 and the other in volume 1909. The covers are not bound in.

1902: VIII = title, index + 286 pages + 1 (of 2) plates = S. Vaage. The plate with Collijn brothers is missing.
