Olimpiady Szachowe 1924–1974 by Stanisław Gawlikowski is a Polish-language history of the Chess Olympiads spanning the first decades of international team chess competition. First published in 1976 it runs to 547 pages and was issued by Sport i Turystyka in Warsaw. The book covers every Olympiad from 1924 (including the unofficial 1924 Paris event) through 1974, presenting reports, results tables, and many notable games from each tournament. It was written with the aim of giving readers both the historical narrative and competitive highlights of these major events, with particular attention to such Olympiad traditions and performances over the decades.
