The book is in Very Good condition for its age. The binding is tight and there is no shelf lean or bowing present. The boards are clean. The lettering on the spine is still strong. The long and bottom edge blocks are evenly age-tanned while the top edge block is darker. Internally the book is clean and inscription, annotation and foxing free. The pages are lightly age-tanned, commensurate with age. The - price-clipped - dustjacket is in Good Plus condition. It has small areas of loss to the head and tail of the spine (see scan) plus a little nibbling to extremities. The rear panel suffers from mild age-related rubbing. Book Condition: 7.5/10.
