Nikolai Vladimirovich Krogius (July 22, 1930 – July 14, 2022) was a Russian Grandmaster, International Arbiter, coach, and former FIDE Vice-President, he was also known as a pioneer in chess psychology and a talented author. He was part of the support team for the world champion Boris Spassky in his 1972 loss to Bobby Fischer.
