PSRS 28. saha cempionata pusfinals: Rostova pie Donas 1960 gada. Pusfinala speleto partiju krajums. Liepaja, 1963. Editor: V. Sneiders. In Latvian and partly in English. [VII], 52 pages (printed on recto only). No. 1 of a limited edition of only 6 copies. Di Felice 1876.1.
A very rare bulletin containing 99 games from the 28th Soviet Chess Championship Semi-Final held in Rostov-on-Don from August 20 to September 16, 1960. The remaining 54 games were published in Shakhmatny Bulletin 1960, No. 12 /pp. 369–375/, which is bound together at the end, so all games are available.
The tournament was won by Boris Spassky ahead of Anatoly Bannik and Isaac Boleslavsky.
The colophon (page 52) states that the bulletin was compiled and published by chess literature collector V. Sneijders from Latvia. The games were transcribed from opening index cards stored at the Central Chess Club of the Latvian SSR. Most of these games are missing from publicly available databases
Condition - Very Good: Bound in new-cloth binding with black lettering on the spine. The attached Shakhmatny Bulletin 1960/12 has a handwritten note on the title page and slightly browned paper.
